Our approach

A framework built on evidence and lived experience.

We don't offer generic advice or off-the-shelf solutions. Our approach is structured by principles that keep our work grounded — and adaptable to your specific context.

Core principles

The values that drive everything.

Inclusion by design

Accessibility is built into our work — and our thinking — from the word go. Not as a retrofitted check-box exercise. When we say "from the start," we mean it structurally, not just as a aspiration.

Rigour

Our advice is evidence-based and grounded in data. When we make a recommendation, it's because we've seen it work — measured, not assumed. Our research arm exists to keep our practice honest.

Nothing about us without us

Disabled perspectives lead our research, training, and consulting. This isn't lip service — it's structurally embedded in how we run engagements, who we hire and contract, and how we price our work. We are not a firm that consults disabled people as an afterthought.

Urgency

AI is moving fast — faster than the policies, knowledge, and practices needed to make it accessible. The cost of waiting doesn't fall equally. For people already excluded, delay has a compounding cost. We work with urgency without sacrificing quality.

Constructive by nature

Our measure of success is what we can prove works. We don't campaign for or against AI — we build practical paths forward. The question we ask is: what actually helps?

Why this matters

The intersection nobody else is working.

Responsible AI

Helping organisations build, buy, and govern AI that works for disabled people.

Applied AI

Using AI as an active tool to expand disabled people's participation in work, education, and public life.

Evidence base

Research that keeps our advice honest and produces findings that organisations can actually use.
